Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. O'Dell later became morning news anchor on WCBD TV and acted as a crime reporter. The work of O'Dell in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell an award for the Best Report of the year Award to all South Carolina media. After her time in Charleston O'Dell was a co-anchor and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to her move to Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. Additionally, she is co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today.
